12 weeks already....

This is just one of the hundreds of videos we have of Wyatt showing off his vocal skills. He "talked" like this the whole time we were getting camping stuff at Target today. Just as happy as could be! They say that three months is the magic turn-around time for babies who are colicky, and it is totally true.

We are leaving this week to my family reunion in Idaho. Every year my dad's side of the family gets together for a camping trip on the St. Joe River in Idaho. A great time is always had by all, and we are excited for them all to meet Wyatt. So far only my aunt and cousin Amber (aka - the best babysitter ever) are the only Whitesitt family that he has met. The hard part is fitting all of the extra baby gear AND camping gear in the Subaru.

The other night my cousin Amber watched Wyatt and Brian and I went out to dinner and a movie (hence the babysitter comment above). It was weird to be driving int he car without him in the back seat! But we had a great time and an amazing meal in Phinney Ridge. We went to the Stumbling Goat, this sweet little place that supports local farmer's. We sat outside in the nice weather and had good food and wine. We debated on getting a fancy dessert, but decided that we needed Sour Patch Kids and pop at the movie theater instead. After dinner Brian took me to the wrong theater. Classic Brian move. The movie we had planned to see - The Hangover - was not even showing there. So we just decided to go to the theater that we usually go to and is closest to our house over in Mountlake Terrace. Little did we know that it had changed over to the most genius place on earth. It is now called Cinnebarre. It is a cinema for 21 and older. It's a BAR. You can order food and drinks WHILE you watch the movie. You even have tables in front of you and can order whatever you want while the movie is going on. The people next to us had a bucket of Corona and a pitcher of some kind of Dacquiri. We were like little kids because we called everyone and told them the amazingness we had just stumbled upon. Not that we wanted to join in on all the alcohol (we both would have just fallen asleep during the movie!)- we were thrilled you could order stuff like BURGERS AND FRIES!! All of the excitement almost made us forget that we never got our Sour Patch Kids. Almost. :)

Alright - I need to get to sleep. Nothing else is really happening with us....just waiting around for Tami to have that baby!!

Sounds like a fun theater! J and I love sour patch kids too! Date nights are vital! Wyatt is sooo precious. I can't wait to meet him!

Still no baby? Is she in the hospital in labor or what? I hope this kid isn't 10 lbs!

He is getting so big!!!! I love that age- so happy and talking yet still to young to talk back! HA!

And yeah for date nights! I LOVE when we get to go out without the kids! We just went to Transformers last week and it was so fun! Of course the whole time we kept saying, "Connor would be in heaven if he was here watching this!" Huh- go figure!
Um- they need to build one of those bar/movie theaters here. That is possibly the coolest freaking thing I have ever heard of. Especially since I always have a kid (no matter what the movie) sitting behind me crying or talking the whole time. Genius idea. I bet they make a fortune!
